Yellow Fever Injection/Medical Letter of Exemption

The yellow fever vaccine is recommended for people who are travelling to:

• an area where yellow fever is found, including parts of sub-Saharan Africa, South America, Central America and Trinidad in the Caribbean

• a country that requires you to have a certificate proving you have been vaccinated against yellow fever.

You should be vaccinated at least 10 days before you travel to allow enough time for the vaccine to work. Sometimes the risks of being vaccinated outweigh the benefits. Hence, an individual risk assessment is carried out prior to each vaccination. Your booking confirmation email will contain a link to an essential form. Please access and submit that form as soon as possible. At your appointment, you will be issued with the International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP) or a medical letter of exemption. Suitable from the age of 9 months.
