There are signs the measles virus is spreading in London. This is because the number of children that have been vaccinated is lower than it should be. Every child should have had 2 doses of MMR vaccine by the age of 5.
This NHS catch up programme is for individuals that are either living in London or registered to a GP in London AND are aged 5 to 19 years' old AND are either unimmunised or have incomplete, uncertain or unknown vaccination status against MMR. These individuals are being offered 1 or 2 doses of MMR vaccine as a catch up by the NHS, free of charge to bring them up to date with their routine vaccinations.
Boosting immunity in individuals will not only help protect them but also reduce the risk of the virus continuing to spread.
IF YOU ARE NOT THE PATIENT, PLEASE ENSURE YOU ENTER THE PATIENT'S DETAILS WHEN MAKING A BOOKING.
